The Prosperity Partnership emphasizes a data-driven approach to assessing our economy and developing economic strategies for the region. Impartial data collection and analysis is crucial to understanding where our region stands out and where we should continue to focus our collective efforts.

cover   Puget Sound Regional Competitiveness Indicators
The Puget Sound Regional Competitiveness Indicators reports measure the region’s economic performance through a set of more than 20 economic and social indicators, and describes progress made implementing yearly Action Items. The report measures the Puget Sound region against five U.S. peer regions in key indicators such as education and the workforce, technology and innovation, enterprise and investment, business climate, transportation and infrastructure, and quality of life and social capital.

International Regions Benchmarking Consortium
Recognizing that the region is part of an increasingly competitive global economy, the Partnership is also working to benchmark our region against international peer regions through the International Regions Benchmarking Consortium, a network of ten innovative, knowledge regions around the world.

PSRC Data
PSRC creates and maintains a large quantity of economic data, including employment and wage data. In addition to PSRC data, the Prosperity Partnership relies on other proven sources of data and technical analyses to support its initiatives.
